Bio

Lani Kane-Hanan is the Chief Executive Officer of Open Network Exchange, Inc (ONE). ONE is a global leader in digital business solutions amongst the travel, hospitality, real estate, and financial sectors. Her team at ONE provides next generation, technology-based sales, marketing, and fulfillment services to global private and public businesses. Leveraging its proprietary technology, global sales and customer servicing centers and business partnering approach, ONE works with clients to develop and implement unique and powerful products and outsourced services, which drive material customer value and immediate financial returns for their business.  

Lani joined ONE in June 2023, after a 20+year career with Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW).   In her role at MVW, Lani was an EVP and the Global Chief Product and Development Officer. During her tenure she was responsible for all MVW’s New Product Development, Resort Planning, Construction & Development, Inventory and Revenue Management, and Product Innovation activities. Her teams’ efforts supported the Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Sheraton, Weston, and Hyatt Vacation Club brands worldwide. She served as an Executive Officer of MVW.  Prior to joining MVW in 2000, she was part of the senior leadership team of the real estate consulting practices of Arthur Andersen and Horwath Hospitality in Miami. 

Lani received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, where she serves on the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board (EAB) and the Hospitality Real Estate Advisory Board (HREAB). She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), and the South Florida Chapter of Make-a-Wish. She is the co-founder and past president of Women In The Industry (“WIN”), a national non-profit organization that advocates, educates, and connects women in Hospitality. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves as Vice Chair and DEI Chair of the Recreational Development Council. Ms. Kane-Hanan holds memberships in several other professional associations and is a frequent guest speaker for various universities, hospitality conferences and organizations. She resides in South Florida, with her husband Neil.
