The Hospitality Leadership major compliments the hospitality core curriculum with a focus on developing people-centered leaders. This includes competencies in areas such as diversity, inclusion, collaboration, service, emotional intelligence and creating a positive organization.

Hospitality leadership Courses (16 credits)
Choose 12 credits from the following options:
- HFT 3073 Social Responsibility in the Hospitality Industry (3)
- HFT 3074 Personal Empowerment in the Hospitality Industry (3)
- HFT 3202 Fundamentals of Management (3)
- HFT 4247 Diversity & Inclusion in the Hospitality Industry (3)
- HFT 4224 Human Relations (3)
- HFT 4545 Managing High-Functioning Teams (3)
- HFT 3006 Emotional Intelligence in the Hospitality Industry (3)
- HFT 3246 Positive Organizations in the Hospitality Industry (3)
- HFT 4240 Managing Service Organizations (3)
- HFT 4295 Leadership in the Hospitality Industry (3)
- HFT 3930 Any three approved PODS (1 credit each)
Students must also complete:
HFT 4945 Advanced Internship in Hospitality/Tourism Management (1)
